Dear Mel and Sara,

I would like to thank you and everyone else at Tottington Manor for giving us a wonderful wedding reception and a pleasant stay for us and our guests (29th - 31st July 2011) . Tottington Manor is a perfect place for weddings - beautiful rooms , delicious food, friendly staff, easy going managers, gorgeous views outside... We loved every bit, our guests were really impressed! The big function room worked very well with a partition wall and our perfomer remained a well-kept secret until it was time to dance. I also hope our little girl and her friend did not make too much hassle running around. They both loved children's play area in the garden - Tottington Manor is truly a family-friendly place.

If we could repeat everything-we would not change anything at all!

We hope to see you soon as we will definetely be coming back!

We would like to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Tottington Manor at the weekend (2nd/3rd July 2011).

Everything was fabulous: - the room, the food, the friendly staff, the scenery - and the weather!

We first stayed here 20 years ago on our honeymoon. This time, we were celebrating our 20th anniversary. We hope not to leave it so long for our next visit!

We had a fabulous time at our friend's 70th birthday (June Stead). The space was spot-on and extremely well laid out. Felt intimate but at the same time more than enough room for everyone including the staff to move around. Worked brilliantly. Food was excellent. Couldn't recommend Tottington Manor highly enough for efficiency, quality, ambience and welcome. Well done.

Thanks to you and all of the staff for the wonderful 70th birhday party we had on Sunday (19/06/2011). The new function room was beautifully laid out and the views through the French doors stunning (pity the weather did not allow us to get outside into the garden). Five tables for our 40 guests fitted comfortably in the room and gave plenty of space to move around and for our home made entertainment! Hope it did not disturb any of your other guests!!

Our meetings with you beforehand allowed us to compose a varied menu selection for all of our guests and the comments from everyone on the standard and presentation of the food were very favourable. Everyone was served on time without any delay for different meals to arrive. This, of course, was down not only to the kitchen staff but to the excellent service from all the young ladies looking after us. They even made our 6 month old grandaughter very comfortable with her own high chair at the table.

A welcome summery Pimm's for our guests on arrival was an excellent suggestion, thank you. The whole day was exceptionally good value for money.

All round the service and setting made for a very memorable day. Many thanks again to you and all of the staff involved.

I would just like to echo previous comments, and give my thanks to all the staff for their kind, professional and discreet help in making my 50th birthday celebration such a wonderful pleasure on Saturday. Some of my guests had long distances to travel, and so were a little late in arriving. This did not phase the chef....meals were still served hot and delicious in a timely fashion, much complimented by all my family and friends. Nothing too much trouble, and the service with friendly smiles was so refreshing. THANK YOU.

Just a short email to say how pleased Jo and I were with our recent but too short one night stay with you to celebrate my wife's birthday. The location is idyllic and the staff friendly with the right degree of attentiveness. The food was excellent, worthy of Michelin recognition. The popularity of the restaurant was demonstrated by the need to book Sunday lunch as the restaurant was full but even so service did not suffer.

The rooms are simply furnished but with a degree of sophistication but lacking nothing.

Our only major complaint was that we had not been able to spend another couple of nights with you - one night was just not long enough. We will be visiting again soon if only for the dining experience and the location.

We have often passed the hotel on the country route home from Brighton but never taken the time to visit the grand old manor - our loss!!

The location of the hotel is exceptionally rural with frequent pleasant seranading of 'baa-ing' by the sheep roaming the Downs yet Brighton, Worthing and other Sussex attractions are within easy reach by car.

It is an ideal place to sample the fresh Sussex air and unwind with opportunities to climb the Downs and get some exceptional views of the county

I would just like to say thank you for the kind attention of the staff for my parent's ruby wedding anniversary meal that we had at Tottington on Sunday. We all thought the room was lovely and the food was complimented by all the guests. It all contributed to my Mum and Dad really enjoying their day. Thank you. I was a little anxious as i live in Suffolk and had been unable to look at the venue beforehand and it very much lived up to our expectations. Please pass this message onto those concerned.

Another wonderful Sunday afternoon spent at Tottington Manor,lunch was delicious as ever and the service exemplilary.
Such a warm welcome from lovely manageress Mel, and a lovely relaxed drink afterwards in the confortable lounge area with a gorgeous real fire.

A huge thank you for making our weekend so romantic. (2nd/3rd October 2010)
The setting was idyllic, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble; even down to the wine I ordered to be in our room on arrival.

We would highly recommend your hotel. Our four poster bedroom was tastefully decorated, beautiful quilt, charming settee and great views of the South Downs. Food was superb and to have a drink at the bar beforehand was just perfect, (despite the rain!)

So thank you Sara and your staff; love the uniform too - so different from the usual black trousers/skirt and white shirt!
